Finally got one to work for me (1.9) but had to use the large EXE file to do it. Accuweather still a problem for me located in northeast TN. Tried other with no success but this one seems ok so far. Love it on the EVO hopes it is a good on the PC. --After less than 24 hours it crashed my system, sort of....During reboot it hung up and wouldn't load properly. Had to uninstall it. Sorry!

Best so far IMHO: Only issue I notice is when set to 12Hour setting, MIDNIGHT instead of being 12AM is 00:00AM...

It seems that the weeather icon in the middle does not match with today's one. The center icon neither reflect the latest status nor the overall status of today. The weather icon for today is correct.

Excellent and wonderful widget and I love it ... only one suggestion I have .. it still shows the sun even if it is dark outside ... can it be changed into a moon phase ;)

When I use "Show desktop" the clock is minimised to the system tray (as normal) .What I want , when I use Pin ,is to stay permannently to the desktop , as it is part of it . When I try to restore it , it doesn't work , it stays on system tray also .It is also showed on the list of programs opened(ALT+Tab) this is not desirable . Also , after restart doesn't remember it's last position.(1.9ver)

Great job! i have no problem with double monitor.
by mRizvandi on Sep 20, 2010 at 12:38 PM

I seem to have the "second monitor" (third actually) problem as well. It worked the very first time on my 3rd monitor. After that, it disappeared on startup and any time I drag it over.
by greendot on Sep 20, 2010 at 12:30 PM

I have the "second display" problem as well. My second display is ABOVE my primary display and I can drag the UI onto the second display and it will stay near the bottom but if I try to drag it beyond the bottom third, it disappears and I have to use the tray icon and the settings to set it to a predefined position. I'm running Vista x64 SP2

Feature suggestion: Click on the city name to open the browser to the selected weather provider for detailed weather information. Great program!!!

UPDATE: just tried HTC_Home_1.9_Build_109_Final_Release.exe - same issues! Again it has the transparent square border and won't drag to the top of the screen where i want it. When i drag it the bottom panel overlaps the top panel, the more i drag the worse it gets! I have uploaded a pic for you to see: http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/7464/42875564.jpg Back to v1.7.... This one works OK.

having the same problem as speedycars. the rest works well. UPDATE: An error message shown this "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation". Not sure what causes it. After that, when trying to open it up again it says "Could not find file 'C:\Users\Chris Hii\Desktop\HTC Home 1.9\res\Weather\m_weather_41.png"

This version is working fine for me. Win 7 64bit. I haven't had any problems yet. Thank you for the frequent updates and hard work. [Update] Okay I encounter a glitch whenever I press the "show desktop" button in windows 7. It jumps out place. Also it crashed and failed to load settings.

UI disappears in ver 1.8 and 1.9 when dragged to second monitor for a custom position. This did not occur in ver 1.6. Win7 64bit

GREAT JOB "Stealth2009", THANK YOU :-) Update 1: Is there a way to "Fetch" data so we can use it offline as it's not always we are connected, for example update data every 1/6/12 hours or 1/2/5 days? that would be smashing :-) Thx
by baltazard on Sep 17, 2010 at 1:30 PM

Works very wel but as I mentioned before the problem with the wrong MSN - Cloudy weather display symbol still exists. :( Pls. fix this. (m_weather_03.png used instead of m_weather_07.png for cloudy weather with MSN provider)

Preview of fonts is generated very slowly - it makes the whole gadget to be not responsive for about 5 seconds. *I've got only the basic fonts of Windows 7, not any more additional fonts. UPDATE: Another bug is that sometimes the widget stays over other windows without being enabled to. I discovered it also in 1.8 just before updating. UPDATE2: I agree with Irrawaddy.
by speedycars on Sep 17, 2010 at 7:53 AM

Great stuff! However, the degree sign in temperatures should be rendered using codepoint U+00B0 (keystroke Alt+0176), e.g. 20°, not the superscript numeral zero.

Working good for me too. Windows Vista sp2 32bit
by robkilljoy on Sep 17, 2010 at 2:37 AM

The top border issue I mentioned with 1.8 has reversed. Now when I move the Clock to the top of the screen, it jumps up and corrupts the clock UI.
